Thirty days, no questions asked. If a purchase is not right for you, tell us within 30 days and we will refund it in full.
We would rather refund you than have you keep something that does not help. We would also genuinely like to know what was wrong, though you do not have to tell us.
You may request a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date for any digital product bought directly from cisodiy.
No reason is required. Downloading a file does not forfeit your refund — you cannot assess a document without opening it, and a policy that pretended otherwise would be a policy against reading.
Email privacy@cisomarketplace.com with your order number, or the email address you bought with.
We aim to acknowledge within one business day and to process the refund within 3–5 business days of approving it. Your bank may take a further few days to show it.
We do not require you to delete your copy first, and we do not ask you to prove anything.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment processor. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
Where a purchase was made wholly or partly with account credits, the credit portion is returned as credits.
Where a promotional discount applied, we refund the amount actually charged.
Currency conversion and any card-issuer fees are outside our control; we refund the amount we received.
The 30-day guarantee does not apply where:
1. The product has been materially used to produce a deliverable for an end client, or submitted as part of a compliance, audit, certification or regulatory process. At that point the value has been realised;
2. The request falls outside the 30-day window, unless [Section 9](#9-pricing-errors-and-failed-delivery) or [Section 10](#10-statutory-rights) applies;
3. The purchase was made in breach of the licence — for example, files redistributed outside your licensed scope. In that case we may terminate the licence without refund;
4. A custom, commissioned or bespoke item was produced specifically for you, where work has begun.
If you are unsure whether a product suits your use case, email us before buying. We would rather answer a question than process a refund.
A bundle is refunded as a whole. We cannot refund individual components of a bundle while you retain the rest, because the bundle price is not the sum of its parts.
In an order containing several separate products, each may be refunded independently.
When a refund is issued, the licence for that product ends. Your entitlement is removed, and you should stop using the files and delete the copies within your control.
Outputs you lawfully produced before the refund remain yours — we do not claw back work you did.
If you bought the same product twice, or bought the wrong licence tier, tell us and we will refund the duplicate or move you to the correct tier and settle the difference. This is not counted against the 30-day window and needs no justification.
If a price was displayed in error, we will not charge you the higher amount without your agreement; if you were already charged, we refund the difference or cancel the order in full at your choice.
If delivery fails and we cannot get you a working download, you receive a full refund regardless of when the failure is reported.
This policy sits alongside your legal rights, and does not replace them.
Consumers in the EEA and UK have a statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts. For digital content supplied immediately, that right may be waived by your express consent at checkout — but our 30-day guarantee is more generous than the statutory 14-day period, so in practice the guarantee governs.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-excludable right you have under the consumer law of your country of residence.
If something is wrong, contact us first — we will almost always resolve it faster than a chargeback, and without your bank's involvement.
Where a chargeback is raised without a prior request to us, we may suspend the associated account and entitlements while the dispute is resolved.
We may revise this policy. The version in force for a purchase is the one published when you made it, so a revision cannot reduce the rights attached to a purchase you have already completed.
Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date and posted at cisodiy.pages.dev, ciso.diy, www.ciso.diy. This policy is reviewed at least annually; next review 2027-09-01.
