Terms of Use

Products and licenses

All products sold on ciso.diy are digital downloads licensed for use under the terms specified at purchase. License types:

• Single-Company / Single-Practitioner — use within one organization or by one individual practitioner for their own clients
• Team License — use by up to 5 practitioners within the same firm
• Practitioner / Unlimited / White-Label — use across an unlimited number of clients; you may brand the output as your own deliverable

Licenses are non-transferable and may not be resold, sublicensed, or redistributed in their original form.

Permitted use

• Customize and use the templates for your own security program or client engagements (per license tier)
• Produce and share outputs and deliverables generated using the templates
• Reference the methodology, structure, and approach in your own work

Prohibited use

• Reselling or redistributing the original template files
• Listing the files on any marketplace (Etsy, Gumroad, etc.) under your own branding without an appropriate white-label license
• Sharing download links with individuals outside your licensed organization or team
• Removing copyright notices or ciso.diy attribution from the files themselves (white-label licenses may replace branding per the license terms)

No warranties

Templates are provided as-is for informational and operational purposes. ciso.diy makes no warranty that the templates are complete, current, or suitable for any specific regulatory, legal, or compliance purpose. Use of the templates does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for your specific situation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ciso.diy and CISO Marketplace shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the templates, including but not limited to failed audits, insurance claim denials, regulatory penalties, or data breaches.

Updates

When we release updated versions of a product, purchasers may re-download the latest version at no additional charge via the original download link provided by Lemon Squeezy.
