These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of cisodiy at cisodiy.pages.dev, ciso.diy, www.ciso.diy, operated by QSai LLC (CISO Marketplace).
By using the site, creating an account, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that organisation.
If you do not agree, do not use the site.
cisodiy sells licensed digital products for download. We provide the site, the checkout, the delivery of files you purchase, and continued access to those files as described in [Section 5](#5-delivery-and-continued-access).
We do not provide consulting, implementation, audit, certification or assurance services through this site, and no advisory relationship arises from your purchase.
Some functions — completing a purchase, and re-downloading what you own — require an account. Authentication is handled by our central sign-in service; your account may be shared across other properties operated by QSai LLC (CISO Marketplace).
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at privacy@cisomarketplace.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
We may refuse, suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these Terms, or where required by law.
Prices are shown on the product page before checkout and are charged in the currency displayed. Payment is taken by our payment processor; we do not receive or store your card details.
Prices may change at any time, but the price you pay is the price shown at the moment you complete checkout. A promotional price applies only while the promotion runs.
You are responsible for any tax that applies to you beyond what is collected at checkout.
Where a product is offered at more than one licence tier, the tiers differ in scope of use, not in the files delivered — see [Section 6](#6-licence-to-use-what-you-buy).
Purchased files are delivered digitally, immediately after payment. There is nothing to ship.
Delivery links are time-limited. Links sent by email expire within a short window for security. Your account library re-issues them on demand and does not expire.
Updates are free. When we revise a product, you may re-download the current version at no additional charge, for as long as we offer it. There is no maintenance fee and no expiry on your licence.
Re-download serves the current version. We do not undertake to keep or supply superseded versions, so retain your own copy of any version you rely on for an audit, an engagement record or a filing.
We may withdraw or revise a product. Doing so does not revoke a licence already granted to you for a version you have received.
Products are licensed, not sold. What your licence permits — who may use it and for whom — is set out in the End User Licence Agreement, which forms part of your agreement with us and controls over these Terms in respect of the products themselves.
In summary: you may use and adapt the products within your tier's scope, and you own the outputs you produce with them. You may not redistribute the product files themselves, resell or relicense them, or list them on any marketplace.
You may not:
1. Access the site by automated means in a way that degrades it, or circumvent rate limits, authentication or access controls;
2. Share, resell or publish download links issued to you;
3. Attempt to access accounts, orders or files that are not yours;
4. Probe, scan or test the security of the site without our prior written authorisation — we welcome coordinated disclosure at privacy@cisomarketplace.com;
5. Upload or transmit malicious code, or use the site to distribute unlawful content;
6. Misrepresent your identity, or your authority to bind an organisation;
7. Use the site in violation of applicable law or sanctions.
The site, its content, design, structure and code, and the products offered on it, are owned by QSai LLC (CISO Marketplace) or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Our names, logos and trade dress are our trademarks.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership or grants trademark rights.
You retain ownership of anything you produce using our products, and of any material you send us.
If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas about the site or a product, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use them without obligation to you. We will not identify you as the source without your permission.
The site links to third-party sites and relies on third-party services including payment processing, authentication, hosting and email delivery. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party sites or for products you buy from them.
Where we name specific hardware or software, that is a reference, not an endorsement, and we are not a party to your relationship with that vendor.
Our products and the content on this site are operational and engineering documentation. They are not legal, financial, audit, tax or insurance advice, and using them creates no professional relationship.
They do not produce a certification, an accreditation, an assurance opinion or a regulatory determination. Where a product supports preparation for an audit or a filing, the opinion or determination remains the exclusive province of the qualified independent party entitled to give it.

The site and the products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, currency and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a product is complete or current, that any framework mapping is exhaustive or will be accepted by an assessor, or that any figure or citation remains accurate after its stated verification date.
Where applicable law does not permit the exclusion of certain warranties, the exclusions apply to the maximum extent permitted, and nothing here limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QSai LLC (CISO Marketplace) shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, nor for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity — and specifically not for a failed audit, a denied insurance claim, a regulatory penalty, or a data breach — arising from or relating to the site or the products, whether in contract, tort or otherwise.
Our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the site and the products shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You will indemnify QSai LLC (CISO Marketplace) against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms or the End User Licence Agreement, your unlawful use of the site, or your redistribution of the products outside your licensed scope.
You may stop using the site at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access, with notice where practicable, if you materially breach these Terms or the Licence Agreement, if required by law, or to protect the site or its users. Where the breach is capable of remedy we will normally allow thirty days to remedy it.
Termination does not by itself entitle you to a refund; refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Licences already granted for versions you have received survive, as do Sections 8, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 17.
We may change the site, add or withdraw products, and revise these Terms. The version in force for a purchase is the version published when you made it, and a revision does not retroactively reduce rights you already hold.
Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date and posted at cisodiy.pages.dev, ciso.diy, www.ciso.diy. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, to the extent applicable law permits.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to QSai LLC (CISO Marketplace) in its jurisdiction of incorporation, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction — save that we may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to restrain unauthorised distribution of the products.
Where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you rights or a forum this section would otherwise displace, those rights and that forum prevail.
